The Lying Part of Diet:

It's easy to see that there is an inner conflict when you are presented with that high-fat, high-cal treat that you so desire.

It's more than just an inner dialogue: "Should I or shouldn't I?"

You make the wrong decision because, when you get clear on the options, you are being set up with false choices. That's what makes it irrational.

"I need it now", "I'll stop next time", and all the other reasons you can give yourself are essentially lies.

If the choices were honest "How do I enjoy myself?", "When can I give myself a treat" ... you could do whatever you wanted and not over eat.

Right now, your stomach dominates (more) and you are set to fail. Your stomach IS lying to you.

There's a powerful drama going on every time you make a mistake and nothing will really change until you find the honest choice to make.
